Terms of Service
Effective 18 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Netonica OÜ ("we", "us") for using Netonica at netonica.com. You accept them when you create an account or buy a plan. The privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.
A consumer is a person who uses Netonica mainly outside their trade, business or profession. Some sections treat consumers differently.
1. Who we are
Netonica is provided by Netonica OÜ, a private limited company registered in Estonia.
- Registry code: 17618649
- VAT number: EE103039402
- Address: Kukesaba tn 6-2, 13516 Tallinn, Estonia
- Email: support@netonica.com
2. What Netonica does
Netonica checks internet-facing targets you name, such as TLS certificates, post-quantum readiness, DNS records, security headers, MCP servers and x402 payment endpoints. It records what it sees, shows the history your plan includes and alerts you when something changes. The checks page describes each check.
Targets are run by others, so which ones we check, and how, is at our sole discretion. At any time, without giving a reason, we may:
- decline a target, when you add it or later;
- pause, slow or limit checks of one target or of all;
- change or retire a check.
Netonica attempts each check you set up and does not promise a result. A target or its owner can block, limit or stop our checks, a target can change so a check no longer applies, and a check can fail for other reasons. A plan's limits, such as how many monitors it runs and how often they check, are the most it allows, not a promise that every check runs or succeeds.
None of this is a fault in Netonica or a change to your plan, and none of it gives a right to a refund, except that a consumer may end their subscription with a refund under section 12 when we retire a check their plan includes.
Netonica checks from the outside on a schedule, so it can miss a change that starts and ends between two checks. Do not rely on it as your only safeguard. Its results are information, not a certification, an audit or security advice.
3. Who can use it
You must be at least 18. If you use Netonica for a business, you confirm that you may act for it, and "you" then includes it.
You may not use Netonica if you, or a business you act for, are under EU, UN or US sanctions, or are based in a country or region under comprehensive sanctions.
4. Your account and workspaces
You can sign in with a code we email you, so anyone who can read that mailbox can sign in as you. Keep it secure and working: we also send alerts and notices there, including notice of changes to these terms.
Monitors, plans and trials belong to a workspace, not a person. Its members can see its monitors, its history and each other's email addresses, and its activity log shows who changed what, former members included. The owner manages its billing and members. You are responsible for who you invite, for what happens in the workspaces you run, and for telling the people you invite that members see what they change.
If a workspace's plan includes single sign-on (SSO), its owner can turn on sign-in through your company's identity provider. The pricing page says which plans include it. The owner enters the provider's address, client ID and client secret, then tests a sign-in. We save the settings and turn SSO on only if the test returns the owner's own email address.
While SSO is on and the workspace's plan includes it, you must have signed in through the workspace's identity provider within the last few days to open it. This period runs from that sign-in and does not extend when you use the workspace. An email code still signs you in and opens your other workspaces, but does not open this one. To accept an invitation to this workspace, you must sign in through the provider, which must return the invited email address.
If you sign in only through the provider, you can use only that workspace. You must also sign in with an email code before you can switch to another workspace, create one or accept an invitation.
If you turn SSO on, you are responsible for the provider and its settings, keeping it working and removing people who leave from the workspace. Removing a member ends their access at once and stops their API keys. Disabling them only at the provider leaves their access until their provider sign-in lapses, after at most a few days, and leaves their API keys working until you remove them from the workspace.
If the provider is down, set up wrongly or refuses someone, they cannot open the workspace through it until you fix the provider or turn SSO off. This is not a fault in Netonica, and we cannot work around it. The owner can turn SSO off at any time, on any plan. We turn it off only when asked from the owner's account email address at support@netonica.com.
5. Plans and trials
The pricing page lists the plans, what each includes and what each costs. A workspace's plan sets its limits, such as how many monitors and members it has, how often monitors check and how much history it shows. Trials, where we offer them, work as the pricing page says.
Support is by email at support@netonica.com. We answer plans the pricing page lists with priority email support first. We do not promise a reply time unless we agree one in writing.
How far back a workspace sees its history and activity log follows its current plan. When a trial or subscription ends, the workspace moves to the Free plan, and we may pause its monitors. When a plan ends or moves to one that shows less, we may hide or delete the older history and activity log, and we do not promise to keep it or bring it back. A cancelled plan stays active to the end of its paid period (section 6), so keep a copy of anything you need before then.
We may pause, limit, change or end a trial or a free workspace at any time.
6. Paying
Paid plans are sold by Link, a Stripe company, as reseller: you buy from Link at checkout, under the payment terms shown there. Link charges you, collects any VAT or sales tax, sends receipts and invoices, and handles payment questions and refunds through Link support.
A subscription renews automatically each billing period until cancelled. The workspace's owner can cancel at any time; the plan then stays active until the end of the paid period and does not renew.
We may change prices. We tell you before a new price applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before it does.
7. Withdrawal, refunds and credit
If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from a paid subscription within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason. Link, as the seller, handles withdrawals: use the option Link gives you or ask Link support. The plan starts as soon as you subscribe, so you may have to pay for the days used before you withdraw, as Link's terms explain.
Apart from this right and your rights under section 10, cancelling does not refund the rest of a paid period. Moving to a cheaper plan turns the unused part of what you paid into credit for your next invoices. Credit is not paid out, except under those same rights.
8. Acceptable use
Most checks make the same requests an ordinary visitor makes, so you may monitor public endpoints you rely on, including ones others run. Use checks that rely on access you give us, such as a key, and deeper security checks only on systems you run or have explicit permission to test. We may ask you to prove you control a system, for example with a DNS record, and refuse such checks until you do.
You may not:
- use Netonica to attack, overload or exploit a system, or to gain access you are not allowed;
- try to reach private or internal networks through it;
- send alerts to email addresses or webhooks you may not use;
- copy, resell or republish scan results in bulk, or extract them other than in the ways we offer;
- spread monitors across workspaces or accounts to get around plan limits;
- interfere with the service, or try to reach data of a workspace you are not a member of;
- use it for anything unlawful.
We may pause a monitor or suspend a workspace that breaks these rules. We tell you why, unless the law or someone's safety prevents it, or telling you would help someone get around our protections.
9. Content, scan results and ownership
Your content is your monitors: the targets you watch, their names and schedules, and where alerts go. It stays yours. You let us store and use it to provide and improve our services, and to make statistics that identify neither you nor your workspace. Those statistics stay ours after your content is deleted.
A target, and what checks with only public access see there, belongs to no customer. Those results show what anyone on the internet could see, so they are not confidential to you. We may check a target once and use the result for everyone who monitors it, and keep checking it after they stop.
We may keep scan history after your monitors stop, and use it as we see fit, including for statistics, research, reports and products. Keeping it is no promise to show it to you: section 5 says what a plan shows. What we publish from it does not show which person or workspace monitors what.
Netonica, its software and everything in it other than your content are ours. You may use them only as these terms allow, and may not copy, resell or reverse engineer them, except where the law allows. We may use any feedback or ideas you send us freely.
10. Faults
We do not promise that Netonica is always available, free of faults or catches every change, and we may take it offline.
If you are a consumer, the law gives you rights when Netonica does not match its description or work as it should, including repair, a lower price or ending the contract. These terms do not reduce those rights.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for harm caused on purpose or by gross negligence.
If you use Netonica for a business:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit, revenue, business or data, or for loss from a change Netonica missed or an alert that came late or not at all;
- our total liability in any 12 months is limited to what was paid for your workspace in those 12 months, or €100 if that is more;
- you cover our losses and reasonable costs from any claim that your monitors, or your use of Netonica, broke these terms or the law.
12. Changes
We may change Netonica, including removing features, and update these terms. We tell you before a change to these terms that matters to you takes effect; if you do not agree, cancel and close your account before then, and if you keep using Netonica, the new terms apply.
If you are a consumer, we change Netonica or these terms only for a valid reason, such as security, the law, cost or a better product. If a change makes your paid plan noticeably worse, for any reason, including a check we retire, we email you before it happens, and you may end your subscription within 30 days of the change with a refund of the unused part through Link.
A change can take effect sooner, and we tell you as soon as we can, when it:
- protects Netonica's security or availability, or stops abuse or harm to its users or the systems it checks;
- follows the law, a court or an authority;
- follows a change by a provider or third-party service Netonica depends on;
- does not make your plan worse;
- concerns a free plan, a trial or a feature marked beta.
What section 2 lets us decide about targets and checks is not a change under this section, except that a consumer's right above covers a check we retire. A business has no right to a refund after a change; it may cancel to stop the next renewal.
13. Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time: cancel any subscription and ask us to delete your account at support@netonica.com. The privacy policy says what we delete and what we keep.
We may suspend or end your access at once if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if the law requires it. We may also end the agreement, or stop offering Netonica, for any other reason with reasonable notice, and then arrange a refund through Link of any paid period we cannot deliver. Section 5 covers free workspaces and trials.
14. Law and disputes
Estonian law governs these terms. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live. Disputes go to Harju County Court in Tallinn, unless the law lets a consumer go to court where they live.
If something goes wrong, write to support@netonica.com first. A consumer may also take a dispute to the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee (ttja.ee).
15. General
These terms, and the pages they link to, are the whole agreement between us about Netonica. If a court finds part of them invalid, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term at once, we can still enforce it later. We may transfer this agreement to another company, and your rights stay the same.
